Restaurant-quality charcoal
This 40-liter bag of charcoal is made from Group 1 firewood species with a moisture content of class H1 or H2.
- Group 1 wood species: oak, hornbeam, elm, beech, ash, maple
- Wood moisture content class H1: less than 20%, can be burned immediately.
- Wood moisture content class H2: between 20% and 35%, recommended to wait 6 months for drying.
Restaurant quality” ensures optimum cooking temperature for 40 to 50 minutes. Grill’o’bois recommends a temperature between 300° and 400° degrees, to sear the meat! Remember to cook the meat on a hot grill, in the heat of the embers. To avoid charring, do not place meat on the grill in the presence of flames.

Quick and easy lighting
Grill O’Bois ensures that its charcoal bags contain a minimum of 80% 40-140 mm calibre pieces. Larger pieces allow better air circulation. So lighting is quick and easy. Charcoal burns quickly.
Long-lasting combustion
The carbon content of charcoal influences combustion time. If it is below 76%, charcoal burns very quickly. Above 86%, it is difficult to light. Grill’o’bois guarantees an optimal carbon content to ensure long-lasting combustion and easy lighting of your barbecue.
